Highland Folk Museum

The Highland Folk Museum is 80 acres of living history fun for all the family. Our one mile long site has 24 buildings for you to visit - from our 1700s Township at one end to our working croft at the other end. Our pinewood is a hot-spot for red squirrel spotting, we've a fully kitted out schoolhouse complete with teacher, an 1800s Highland Cottage, 1930s Shinty Pavilion and much, much more.

Take a break in the Caman cafe and visit our gift shop while the kids enjoy our great play park; and visit everyone's favourite - Kirk's Stores - our old-fashioned sweetie shop - still selling sweets by the quarter!!

To get the best out of your visit we recommend that you should allow 3-5 hours. But once you've made your first visit there's a good chance you'll join many of our past visitors and come back and visit us again and again!!
