Hugh Miller was a stonemason, eminent geologist, editor and writer. The museum presents his life and work, while his birthplace cottage, built around 1698, is the home of his ancestors and his formative early years.

 

Opening Times:

Cottage and Museum; 1 April - 30 September, Everyday 12pm - 5pm; 1 October - 31 October, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 12pm - 5pm.
