Urquhart Castle

Urquhart Castle is a very picturesque castle which is situated on the shores of Loch Ness. The castle dates back around 500yrs and is now mostly in ruins due to being destroyed by Bonnie Prince Charlie in the Jacobite Rebellions. At the start of your visit you enjoy a lively audio visual presentation which then transforms into a spectacular panoramic view of the outside castle. The ruins are all outside and not sheltered so best enjoyed on a sunny or no rainy day.
