Hidden just off the Royal Mile is the Writers Museum which offers three levels of exhibits and information on some of the most famous literary figures from Scotland's past. The bottom floor has the story of Robert Louis Stevenson covering his entire life and his literary works. There is also a section on Robert Burns with some examples of his poetry and information on his life. Finally you can learn about Sir Walter Scott whom there is a monument dedicated to in Princes Street Gardens.

Sunday 12pm - 5pm (Aug only).
