Ceres Highland Games
The games have been held annually since 1314 and they are the oldest free Highland Games in Scotland. The games were given to the village by Robert the Bruce after the battle at Bannockburn in recognition of their support.
The games take place in the village centre and they feature a range of popular Highland games such as music, cycling, track events and heavy events such as the caber toss. Around the field there are stalls that sell a variety of things including refreshments and crafts.
