Day 1: Science Centre / Camerdown Park

The day starts at the Sensation Science Centre which is the most interactive and one of the most fun filled atttacrions in the city.  The Science centre is a short walk from the Overgate Shopping Centre just head south from Debenhams and after a minute the Science Centre will be on your right hand side.

Inside centre there are various science displays that take place throughout the day exploring a range of topics from mind control to chemical reactions.  There are also numerous interactive parts of the centre with the robots section being one of the most popular areas.

Next up is Camperdown Park which is north of the city centre, it is around a 12 minute drive along the A923. IF you are relying on public transport then a taxi might be your best option, there are regular buses to the Cinema complex just outside the park (No 59 or No 57 buses) but it is then a mile walk into the heart of Camperdown Park.

Inside the park there are a number of activities with a dedicated children’s play area, canoe rental, cycle trails and horse riding.  If the weather is not great then the ice rink or Woodland Visitor Centre would be the best options.    There are also a variety of food outlets at the park including big chains such as KFC and Mc Donalds.
