Perthshire is full of scenic glens, great golf courses and fantastic countryside scenery. It is situated in the central belt of Scotland making it an excellent base for touring the country. The region has an abundance of outdoor activities which range from white water rafting to some relaxing fly fishing.

The region also has one of the most historical landmarks in Scotland at Bannockburn where perhaps the most famous and significant battle in Scottish history was fought between Robert the Bruces Scottish army and the English army of King Edward II. Some other places of note in the region include the former fortress of Stirling Castle and Scone Palace where Scottish Kings were once crowned.
