Kingdom of Fife
Anstruther is a small seaside village situated on the east coast of Fife, only a few miles from the historic St Andrews. It is the largest of all the villages on the fife coastal area which is referred to as the East Neuk. The village's main industry was fishing but with the recent restrictions on fishing its main industry now is tourism.

Anstuthers's past is not forgotten as the Scottish Fisheries museum tells the story of Anstuther's history through to the present day. Also with it being on the coast the local fish and chip shop makes full use of the fresh produce and even won Scotland's best fish and chip shop award in 2001.

The tourist industry is the main drive here though with constant boat trips to the nearby Isle of May available, it's a nature reserve and has wildlife including Puffins. There is also the nearby Secret bunker, which was used as a military base through the second world war and the cold war years and it offers the visitor a unique experience.
